Whether you call them Spirit Boards, Ouija Boards or Witch Boards, they all serve the same purpose...to link us to knowledge and to connect us with those who have gone before us. The Ouija Board was a game invented by Parker in the late 19th century, but it was based on an original design that was used by Magickal practitioners for centuries. They have an undeserved negative reputation, mostly acquired due to inexperienced or careless users who opened a door to something they had no right to explore. When used with caution and care, there is no danger in the use of these tools, and they are in no way connected to Satanic or 'Demonic' contact.
The boards come in many different shapes and sizes, and each is hand made and blessed. Each one is unique to its owner, so no one else will have a board that is exactly alike. The board pictured here is a replica of a board found in 1910 in Egypt. While digging in the Valley of the Kings, it was found in the tomb of a priest who most likely used it for divination for the Pharaoh. The name Ouija is close to the word Ouija-t, which refers to the Eye of Ra. They were considered luck boards and had many different designs.

Keeping in mind that a Spirit Board is a magickal tool, it must be respected as all tools should be. Each board comes with instructions and a care sheet, and I am available to answer any questions you may have about your board, or the use of it.
Each board is hand cut, sanded, designed, wood burned and stained. The finish on the boards is 6 coats of finishing agent, and takes 2 weeks to totally cure. Taking all of this into consideration, please allow at least from 4-6 weeks for your board to arrive. Each board must be completely cured in order to ship without damage, so please allow extra time if you are ordering a board as a gift to insure you will receive it on time!

This board is designed for serious divination. Embellished with Alchemical symbols, it is true to the ancient Necromantic uses and also has modern alphabet and numbers. It measures appr. 19" x 18" and is cut into a unique shape. The sigil of the Necromonicon is burned into the center of the board. Comes with a planchette to match.

This board measures 19" long and 11" wide, and the alphabet is written in the Witches Alphabet, or Theban Script. It bears the designs of a triple moon and pentagram, and comes with a planchette.

This board is the same size as the Triquetra board, but it has a Pentagram burned into the center. In the center of the pentagram, a moonstone has been embedded. This brings a concentration of power to the board. Lettering is Olde English, and it is stained a light color. This board also has bark edging.
